Black Lives in Focus Exhibition on Campus Amplifies Black Voices

The Black Lives in Focus exhibit first launched on the University of Pittsburgh Oakland campus on September 9th,  has been hailed as an opportunity to “celebrate and elevate the incredible Black voices and Black art” in the region. Since then, it has made its way to Pitt-Bradford, and now we are honored to host the exhibit at Pitt-Johnstown.  This exhibit will be displayed on campus the week of October 18-23 and consists of 31 art pieces that will line the walkway from the Whalley Chapel to Blackington Hall. The campus community was invited to an opening reception on Monday, October 18th from 4 pm to 5:30 pm at Blackington Hall.
