UPJ Mourns the Loss of Mr. George Zamias

"UPJ mourns the loss of Mr. George Zamias, a dear friend, a generous philanthropist, and an outstanding community leader. George's service and generosity towards his alma mater had a transformational impact on our Campus, including through service on our Board, scholarships created for student-athletes, and the establishment of the Zamias Aquatic Center. As a result of his tremendous accomplishments and their impact on our community, Mr. Zamias was honored with the University of Pittsburgh Third Century Medallion and awarded UPJ's Distinguished Alumni award.
