Gregory J Petyak, CPA

  • Assistant Professor of Accounting

Since my first accounting class in my freshman year in college, I knew that I wanted to be involved in Accounting. Since that time, I have worked for a CPA firm, a private real estate and hospitality company, a publicly held real estate firm listed on the New York Stock Exchange, a Savings & Loan institution, and have taught accounting at several colleges and universities. I have held job titles like: Staff Accountant, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, Property Controller, and Internal Audit Manager.

My goal is to use my knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm for accounting to help you learn to appreciate and understand what accounting is and how relevant it is in our business and personal lives.
