I am a veteran instructor here at Pitt-Johnstown who has applied the skills I have learned in the business and academic worlds to the service of my students. Like all of our Marketing faculty, I view our students as consumers of our brand. That means that our job is to provide the best possible service product to our students that is rigorous, relevant, and that ultimately helps them secure a satisfying career.
All of our Marketing faculty have experience in the “real world’ of business, including myself, a former Vice President at J. Walter Thompson in Chicago where I helped manage advertising campaigns for Oscar Mayer, Miller Brewing, and Hyatt Hotels. Our Marketing faculty also work hard to bridge the gap between Pitt-Johnstown and the Johnstown community. As an example of this commitment, I earned the Community Service Award from the Pitt-Johnstown Advisory Board. Finally, the primary focus of all our faculty is to encourage each student in our small classrooms to become the most confident and prepared young Marketing professional they can be as they enter the job market. As an example of this attention to our students, I earned the Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award.
