COVID-19 Medical Response Office - Quarantine and Isolation Information

Hello Pitt-Johnstown Students,

Please see the attached letter from the COVID-19 Medical Response Office at the University of Pittsburgh. The memo clearly explains some of the terms that you may have been hearing over the past few days as students move to campus and classes beginning tomorrow. It also explains the process if a student tests positive for COVID-19 or believes that they may have been in close contact with someone infected with COVID-19.

Please take the time to read the letter and reach out to us with any questions.

Additionally, any student that would like to report a concern about something related to COVID-19 on campus, please visit the Pitt COVID Concern Connection at https://www.coronavirus.pitt.edu/pitt-covid-concern-connection.

Thank you all for your cooperation and remember to wear a face covering, practice physical distancing and wash your hands frequently.

Sincerely,

Shelley Peruso, Executive Director of Health and Counseling Services
Dr. Connor Mulcahy, D.O., Medical Director
Patricia Ankney, RN, BSN, CSN, Clinical Coordinator of Health Services
Bob Knipple, Executive Director of Housing & Dining Services
Todd Shaffer, Director of Student Conduct
