Homecoming 2023 Alumni Events

Students:  On Campus Photo Scavenger Hunt (starts September 25th)

Teams of 2 can find historic Pitt-Johnstown locations on campus and snap a selfie. Successful teams will be entered into a drawing for 2 $100 Gift Cards to the Book Store courtesy of the Sernell Family.  Runs Monday 8am until Noon Friday!

Instructions:  On September 25th, the list of clues will be live here for download.  Your team must consist of 2 current students.  Figure out the locations on campus and snap a selfie of your team at that location.  When you have all the locations finished, log onto the website listed on the instructions to upload your Team Name, members, and your pictures.  Each team that successfully completes the hunt will be entered to win the gift cards drawn randomly Friday evening!

Alumni: Daily Online Photo Trivia Contest (starts September 25th)

Alumni can enter daily on Facebook and LinkedIn to answer photo trivia questions. Each day a random winner with the correct answer will win an Alumni package from the Book Store.   

Alumni Meet-and-Greet Tent (Friday Night, September 29th from 5pm - 9pm)

The Pitt-Johnstown Alumni Association will have the Alumni Tent by the Mountain Cat Statue. Join fellow students, faculty, staff, and alumni for conversation and refreshments!

First Annual Pitt-Johnstown Alumni Softball Tournament (Saturday, September 30th at 11am) - CANCELLED

The First Annual Pitt-Johnstown Alumni Softball Tournament. Get a softball team together of your favorite group. Can include any members of the Pitt-Johnstown community including students, faculty, staff, and alumni! This 8 team maximum tournament will determine which group will have the ultimate bragging rights for the next year!

Instructions:  Each team must pre-register by dropping off their complete 9 player roster to the Institutional Advancement office or email it to David Janusek at DGJ7@pitt.edu.  The first 8 teams registered will be entered into the single elimination tournament.  The first game begins at 11am and each game will run 5 innings or 45 minutes, whichever comes first.  The Tournament bracket will be released online and in person the morning of the event.
