For Students
We invite students to submit essay proposals in the form of a short abstract (200 word maximum) alongside a short biography to Drs. Jeremy Justus (jej39@pitt.edu) and Mark DiMauro (mad406@pitt.edu). Please include a subject line of “Undergraduate Conference Submission.”
Please submit poster proposals in the same format (visual poster drafts not required; submitters are responsible for poster printing). For all submissions, please include a title of your essay or poster presentation, a brief biography, and an abstract, as well as your contact information, including the school you currently attend.
For Teachers
We invite faculty members to select 2-4 students in your classes, either from the current semester or past semesters, who have accomplished scholarship suitable for con
ference presentation on a panel you would be invited to chair. Poster submissions may also be made here, if you have a student or students with a project relevant to that presentation methodology.
Once all submissions have been collected, we will inform you of acceptance or rejection. The deadline for submission is 3/16/26. We will inform submitters of acceptance or rejection no later than 3/18/26.

Dr. Todd Thomspon, PhD
Keynote Speaker
Todd Thompson, associate professor of English at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, earned his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois-Chicago. He has taught at I.U.P. since 2009.
Dr. Ann Rea, PhD
Faculty Keynote Speaker
Ann Rea is Professor of English Literature at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, USA. She is co-editor of the Literary Texts and the Popular Marketplace series with Nick Hubbleand.
