The University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is proud to celebrate our December graduates at the second annual Winter Commencement.

Location: Pasquerilla Performing Arts Center
Students who have applied to graduate in December 2026 are eligible to participate. December graduates are also invited to take part in the annual Spring Commencement ceremony on May 1, 2027, and may choose to attend one or both ceremonies.
Additional details will be shared with graduates by Pitt email in the coming weeks. Family and friends are welcome to check this page for updates.
- Graduate Regalia

Graduates are to wear official academic regalia (cap, gown, and tassel) purchased online through The University Store on Fifth, Pittsburgh campus. More information regarding purchasing will be available in the coming weeks.
- Honors Cords

Honors cords will be available for graduates who meet the following criteria and will be distributed by the Office of Conferences and Events at a later date.
60 letter-graded Pitt credits
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 as of the last fully completed term - Guest Tickets

Guest tickets are not currently required for the Winter Commencement Ceremony.
