The 2026 Pitt-Johnstown Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held Saturday, April 25, in the Pitt-Johnstown Wellness Center, honoring five former student-athletes whose achievements represent excellence in Mountain Cat athletics.
University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown will induct Beth Kendera-Vaught ’14 (Volleyball), LuAnn Ketter Mills ’84 (Women’s Basketball), Albert Miles ’08 (Wrestling), Kevin Smay ’79 (Baseball), and Marcus Tullis ’09 (Men’s Basketball) as members of the Class of 2026. The ceremony will also include recognition of the 1981 Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) Final Four women’s basketball team.

Beth Kendera-Vaught ’14 elevated Pitt-Johnstown volleyball to national relevance and remains the program’s all-time leader in career blocks.

LuAnn Ketter Mills ’84 was a key contributor to one of the most successful eras in women’s basketball, including a Final Four appearance and sustained national rankings.

Albert Miles ’08 earned an NCAA Division II national championship and set enduring program records in wrestling.

Kevin Smay ’79 made a lasting impact as a versatile baseball student-athlete and later as a coach and mentor.

Marcus Tullis ’09 ranks among the program’s all-time leaders in scoring and rebounding and earned national recognition for his performance.
Established in 2007, the Pitt-Johnstown Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes former student-athletes, coaches, and supporters whose accomplishments reflect excellence, leadership, and lasting impact on Mountain Cat athletics.
The evening will include a 4:30 p.m. reception in the Sports Center Hall of Fame Room, followed by a 5:30 p.m. dinner in the Wellness Center. Pitt-Johnstown alum and Tribune-Democrat sportswriter Mike Mastovich will serve as emcee.
