Summer Visiting Student

Enrollment Instructions

Pitt-Johnstown offers exceptional opportunities for summer visiting students. Here are the easy steps to take toward enrollment. Please note that summer enrollment opens February 11, 2019.

STEP 1

Print and complete the following:

Summer registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please list at least one alternative class on your registration form. If your first choice of class is closed, you'll receive your alternative choices. A registration confirmation will be mailed to your home address. Add/drop is the first three days of each summer session.

Important Information: You will receive an email to the personal email addressed provided on your application.  This email will include details you will need to activate your University of Pittsburgh computing account. This account will allow you to view your tuition bill and grades on-line.  Tuition bills are available in electronic form only.

STEP 2

Your completed application form, enrollment worksheet, Promissory Note and an application fee of $45 (non-refundable – made payable to the University of Pittsburgh) should be returned to:

STEP 3

Several tuition payment options (i.e. cash, check, credit card) are available at the Business Office at 814-269-7040.

STEP 4

If you wish to have your final grade sent to your school, follow the Transcript Request link. Select "Current Student" to begin your request. Official transcripts are ordered using the new electronic ordering system. Requests may be made at the time of enrollment, during, or after the term.

STEP 5

Purchase the books required for your classes. The Book Center is located on the ground floor of the Student Union.

STEP 6

Obtain a Student ID card in office G-61 of the Student Union Building. The Student ID is required for use of the library, Wellness Center, and for check cashing privileges. Visiting Students may obtain an ID card beginning the first day of their summer class.
