Catholic Campus Ministry

The Pitt-Johnstown Catholic Campus Ministry is dedicated to helping our students, faculty, staff and community of supporters connect with a variety of Catholic programs, opportunities and resources both on and off campus. We invite you to explore the various components of our programs and the exciting opportunities that we are offering to Catholics in our community.

Our Mission

Inspired by Christ's command to "make disciples of all nations," the Office of Catholic Campus Ministry at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown is committed to building a Catholic community through ministry, the Liturgy, catechesis, evangelization, and stewardship, so that together we may come to better know God among us.

Our Vision

We aim to significantly build our Catholic presence and participation on campus with the intention of being recognized as an integral part of university life and the Universal Church. Through an offering of diverse programs, opportunities, and relationships, we hope to establish a premier program with the students of Pitt-Johnstown.

Mass schedule
Understanding that the Eucharist is the source and summit of all the activity of the Church, we gather weekly for Sunday Mass, Wednesday Daily Mass and Eucharistic Adoration. The University community is invited to join in these sacred mysteries, sharing their gifts through our many liturgical ministry opportunities.

Sunday: University Mass, 6 p.m., Whalley Chapel; Confession, 7 p.m., Whalley Chapel

Tuesday: Faith-Share & Social, 8-10 p.m., Whalley Chapel

Our "Blessed Sacrament Chapel" is open daily from 8 a.m.-11 p.m. for private Adoration. It is located near the Whalley Chapel fellowship room.
