Career, Internship, and Graduate School Fair
The Fall 2023 Career, Internship, and Graduate School fair has been scheduled for October 4th in the Pitt-Johnstown Living Learning Center from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Advance registration for students is not required.
What should I bring with me?
Students are encouraged to bring updated resumes that have been reviewed by a career professional. These resumes should be error-free and consist of valuable information that will sell your knowledge and skills to interested companies. For more information, please review our Resume Handout.
Dress for success!
Attendees will meet with company representatives and will create first impressions. Please plan to dress in either business or business casual clothes. If you are in need of professional attire, the Career Closet is a service that lends suits, blazers, shirts, ties, and other professional accessories to help you look your best. Please stop by G-52 Student Union during business hours for assistance. No appointment is required to borrow items from the Career Closet.
Which employers will be in attendance?
Please review this site to find out which employers will be in attendance at the Career and Internship fair.
What else should I be prepared for?
Students should be prepared to discuss their education, experience, and qualifications with employers. Employers will also ask attendees what type of career they are looking for and potentially discuss specific parts of a student's resume with them. Many times, students use an elevator pitch to develop a connection with employers, which is a brief introduction to introduce themselves, share their experiences, and explain their goals.
