Returning students:
- Residence halls will reopen at 8 a.m., Tuesday, January 7 for returning students.
- Use the online check-in system when you arrive on campus. Here's how:
- Navigate to the Johnstown Campus Housing & Dining Services task center on Pitt Passport OR scan the QR code posted on the bulletin boards in your building.
- Click on the "Check Into Your Room" link at the top of the page, click "run" and then click "finish."
- You should complete the check-in process immediately upon arrival. Building access for students not checked in will be removed Wednesday, January 8.
- Students arriving after January 7 should notify Housing and Dining Services in advance so they can be indicated as a late arrival.
- Students who have travel challenges or other extenuating circumstances can request to arrive on Monday, January 6 by submitting an Early Arrival Request form, which is available in the Johnstown Campus Housing & Dining Services task center on my.pitt.edu. A $75 overnight fee will be charged to students who have approval to arrive on January 6. The deadline to submit an Early Arrival Request is 4 p.m., Thursday, January 2. Students arriving early without approval will be fined $100 for an Unauthorized Stay.
