Pitt-Johnstown commuter students are encouraged to participate in the Commuter-In-Residence program. As a participant, you will have:
- a room on campus to study
- a locker to secure your belongings
- the ability to interact with residential students
All first-year commuter students will receive an email message in mid-July detailing the process. The number of spaces is limited. Commuter rooms are available in Laurel, Oak, and Maple halls and are shared by up to 6 people.
Contact Housing & Dining Services (814-269-7115 or upjhousing@pitt.edu) with questions.
Participation in this program is free of charge.
A number of additional services are available for commuter students at Pitt-Johnstown.
